Shared Memories of First Hebrew Congregation of Delray

My Godfather lived next door to the synagogue and on Sabbath The Rabbi would ask him to turn the sound up on the radio so he could listen to the Tigers game. My family had roots Delray.
Love your stories--

I found some good info in the UM archives:

Laying of the cornerstone in 1925: https://digital.bentley.umich.edu/djnews/djc.1925.08.21.001/1

One of the last high holiday services as people had moved away: https://digital.bentley.umich.edu/djnews/djn.1946.09.20.001/43
